Exeter Prize 2017
On November 24, the University of Exeter hosted an Exeter Prize award ceremony. At the ceremony, Michal Bauer (IES FSV UK and CERGE-EI) and Vojtěch Bartoš (LMU) represented the winning team that includes also Julie Chytilová (IES FSV UK), and Filip Matějka (CERGE-EI).
The prestigious Exeter Prize awards the best paper published in the previous calendar year in a peer-reviewed journal in the fields of Experimental Economics, Behavioral Economics, and Decision Theory. The winning paper "Attention Discrimination: Theory and Field Experiments with Monitoring Information Acquisition", published in The American Economic Review, was selected by the panel of Glenn Harrison (Georgia State University), Michael Mandler (Royal Holloway, University of London), and Michel Regenwetter (University of Illinois).
The award ceremony was part of a workshop with public lectures, where the winning paper as well as other nominated papers were presented.
