All Master and PhD students are invited to enroll into the new course Quantitative Methods I. Its goal is to give an introduction to advanced quantitative methods in social sciences. The emphasis will be put on application of econometric methods, such as measurement of economic policies, Bayesian econometrics, high-frequency finance, robust econometrics, meta-analysis, time series econometrics or experimental econometrics. All students who want to attend this course should register in SIS.

Czech Certified Financial Analysts (CFA) Society organizes an international company valuation case competition. Teams of 3-5 students are assigned a mentor, CFA charter-holder, with an extensive business experience. Winners proceed to the European and ultimately global round.
