ČSOB Chair

The co-operation of ČSOB and IES works on a long-term basis. The program ČSOB Chair in Banking at Faculty of Social Sciences started in 2003. Prof. RNDr. Jiří Hlaváček., CSc. was a chair holder from 2004-2010. Since 2011 prof. Roman Horváth, Ph.D. has held the position of ČSOB Corporate chair.

The new cooperation between ČSOB and IES is focused on analyzing long-term trends in banking and investment.

 CSOB-IES Awards for the Best Thesis on "Banking and Finance: New Challenges" 

The 2016 Results 

The results of the CSOB-IES Awards for the Best Thesis on "Banking, finance, confidence and data" were announced on 21st December 2016 in the CSOB Inspiration premises. The winners Markéta Pokorná (1st place), Dana Klímová (2nd place) and Martin Brousil (3rd place) had an opportunity to introduce their work to the audience. Congratulations to the winners!

The 2015 Results 

The results of the CSOB-IES Awards for the Best Thesis on "Banking, finance, confidence and data" were announced on January, 11, 2016 in the Era World premises. The winners Jakub Rybák (1st place), Radek Halamka (2nd place) and Martin Pátek (3rd place) had an opportunity to introduce their work to the audience. Congratulations to the winners!

The 2014 Results 

The results of the IES-CSOB Awards for the Best Thesis on Banking, finance and confidence were announced on December, 18, 2014 in the Era World premises. The winners Aneta Mohylová (1st place), Matěj Kuc (2nd place) and Jan Mareš (3rd place) had an opportunity to introduce their work to the audience. Congratulations to the winners!

The results of the IES-CSOB Award for the Best Thesis on Banking, finance and confidence were announced on April, 30, 2014 in the Era World premises. The winners Tomáš Havlíček (1st place), Adam Klečka (2nd place) a Tomáš Jelínek (3rd place) had an opportunity to introduce their work to the audience. Congratulations to the winners!

The results of the IES-CSOB Award for the best thesis on Banking, finance and confidence were announced on November, 5, 2012 in the Era World premises. The winners Barbora Šútorová (1st plance), Lenka Herrmannová (2nd place) and Jan Šiml (3rd place) had an opportunity to introduce their work to the audience. Congratulations to the winners!
