  • Extended Application deadlines for English-taught programs

    Please note that the application deadlines for all the English- taught programs are now extended as follows: 
    Preliminary application deadline: June 30, 2024 
    Extended application deadline: August 31, 2024

  • Rector's Sports Day on 14 May

    On Tuesday, May 14, 2024, the traditional sports celebration of Charles University - the Rector's Sports Day - will take place. This year, you can participate in Prague and its surrounding areas, in Hradec Králové, and in Pilsen. Try one of the prepared activities. The offer is wide and also includes fencing, wall climbing, golf, scooter riding, yoga, and beach volleyball.

  • FSV UK Dean announces the 29th Josef Vavroušek Award

    The Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences of Charles University announces the 29th public competition for Josef Vavroušek Award, subtitled Human Values and Civilization Development Problems. The deadline for application is Friday 26 July 2024 by noon.

  • The week of the Jinonice Campus ceremonial opening 

    We would like to inform you about events taking place in the week of April 22 in connection with the ceremonial opening of the Jinonice Campus. Some of these events temporarily affect the operation of our mini campus.

  • Guest lecture: Michal Horný (Emory University) 

    We would like to invite our students and everyone interested to a guest lecture held by Michal Horný from Emory University, called "Episode-Based Cost-Sharing to Protect Patients from the Financial Risk in Receiving Planned Care", which will take place at CERGE-EI in room 402 at  11.30 tomorrow (this Friday April 19).

    Are you our international student or recent graduate? Join us for FSV UK Career Day on 10 April 2024 in Jinonice Campus! You can look forward to a CV workshop, a Czech labour law lecture, 2 companies recruiting, career counseling or a photographer who can take a professional photo for your CV. Some parts of the program require registration.
