Disertation abstract:
The aim of the project is to reveal the differences between state-owned banks and private banks in financing SMEs. State-owned banks which had the monopoly position in the banking industry in China for a long time. Since the banking industry to private sector has been opened in 2014 with the view of 12th National People's Congress & Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference has been held in March 2014. Whether the emerging of the private banks will improve the financial service to SMEs is the key
questions the thesis shall attempt to answer.
