27.11.2018 - Přednáška Filipa Matějky na téma racionální nepozornosti a behaviorální ekonomie
Filip Matějka, jeden z nejúspěšnějších českých ekonomů současnosti, poskytne studentům IES přehledovou přednášku o teorii racionální nepozornosti a jejích aplikacích. Přednáška probíhá v rámci kurzu Behavioral economics (pátek 30.11. v 11 hod, v místnosti číslo 206), ale je otevřená všem zájemcům (v rámci kapacity místnosti). Filip Matějka je profesorem na CERGE-EI, vystudoval na Princenton University, kromě mnoha jiných světových výzkumníků spolupracoval i s nositelem Nobelovy ceny prof. Christopherem Simsem a jeho práce má celosvětový ohlas.

21.09.2012 - Workshop on Programming in z-Tree for Experimental Research
Laboratory of experimental economics (LEE) in cooperation with IES and CERGE-EI opens a compact workshop about Programming in z-Tree for Experimetnal Research. The visiting lecturer is Maria Bigoni from the University of Bologna. The workshop with take place from Nov 15th to Nov 19th 2012 at LEE premises. The course aims to help students who think about implementing an economic experiment and want to learn how to program it. More information is here.
19.12.2011 - An experimental economics workshop by Cary Deck
Cary Deck, professor of the University of Arkansas and Director of Behavioral Business Research Laboratory, will be a guest lecturer of another experimental economics workshop at the Laboratory of Experimental Economics at the University of Economis (VSE) during January 30-Feb 12, 2012. 06.12.2011 - Lecture of Steffen Huck about consumer protection
Steffen Huck from the University College London is visiting the Laboratory of Experimental Economics (IES is one of its partnering institutions) and he will give a seminar talk at VSE on Wednesday Dec 7 from 6pm, room RB 338. The topic is "Regulation and consumer protection: An experimental approach." IES students are welcome to attend.

The Young Professional Programme 2011-2012 is now open for applications from candidates who are interested in the objectives of the OECD in promoting international policy co-operation, understand the issues involved in international work, and who possess the analytical and drafting skills. 16.03.2009 - MBA summer school in Aarhus (ESSAM) – scholarship competition for IES students
IES announces a student competition for one scholarship to participate at European Summer School for Advanced Management. It is organized by consortium of nine outstanding international business schools. For more information see http://www.essam.dk/. The scholarship covers tuition, accommodation and meals; it does not cover travel costs. The ideal candidate should have a proven interest and some experience with management or business consulting.
