07/10/2020 - Study in Austria with CEEPUS
The IES can nominate one student for studies at the University of Applied Sciences Burgeland in Spring 2020/2021. The current scholarship level for Austria is 1050 euro per month. Students interested in this study abroad opportunity should send their CV, motivation letter and transcript of grades to Lenka Stastna, firstname.lastname@example.org, till October 23, 2020. The selected student will then apply online through the CEEPUS online system. Only the application of the selected student will be confirmed in the online system. International office announces the opportunity to finance study and research abroad from the Rector's Mobility Fund for bachelor, master and also PhD students. Only future travel plans are funded (from December 2020). The Fund primarily finances inter-university exchanges, but also students traveling abroad through inter-faculty agreements, or as freemovers, may receive financial support from the Fund. PhD students are encouraged to apply for the financing if they plan their research stay abroad. Students may apply for the Erasmus+ study exchange for the next academic year 2020/2021. The application system will be opened on February 14 and closed on February 28. If you want to learn more about this programme, come to the Erasmus+ meeting on Thursday February 6 from 2pm in room 109. The meeting will be held in English, if there are non-Czech speaking participants.

06/09/2018 - JEB144 Introduction to Urban Economics (2 credits)
We invite all students to the special course by prof. Jan K. Brueckner, Professor of Economics at the University of California Irvine, a leading global expert in urban economics. The primary objective of the course is to provide students with basic concepts in urban economics. The course will cover two of the key topics in the field: reasons for the existence of cities, and the economics of urban spatial structure.
The course will run in the week September 24-27, 2018. Enrollment to the course is allowed from September 1, 2018 till September 24, 2018.
