Project Syndicate cites a meta-analysis by Prof. Tomáš Havránek

In his article Secular Stagnation, Not Secular Stagflation for Project Syndicate, Willem H. Buiter cites the meta-analysis "Transmission Lags of Monetary Policy" co-authored by our colleague, Prof. Tomáš Havránek and our alumnus Marek Rusnák, stating that current changes in central bank interest rates will not fully affect the economy until 2-3 years from now. For this meta-analysis, the authors received the CES Young Economist of the Year award IN 2012 and the CNB Economic Research Award in 2014.
