CERGE-EI Festival: Discover Careers in Economic Research

On Thursday, December 4, 2025, the CERGE-EI Festival: Discover Careers in Economic Research will take place. The festival is designed for talented students of economics, mathematics, and related fields who wish to explore the possibilities of advanced studies in economics.

The full-day program will include:

• Inspiring lectures and panel discussions with leading economists from academia, central banks, international organizations, and both the public and private sectors.
• Practical workshops focused on formulating research questions, working with data, and presenting ideas clearly — skills useful not only for bachelor’s and master’s theses, but also for future research.
• Opportunities to connect with peers from various countries who are asking similar questions about their future, and to meet members of the community of top researchers.

The festival will also introduce the doctoral and master’s programs at CERGE-EI. However, its broader goal is to help students decide whether advanced studies in economics are the right path for them. We believe that this event will be valuable for students regardless of where they choose to continue their studies.
