Compact courses are intended primarily for Master’s students. They are open to Bachelor’s students as optional courses, and their credits may be later transferred as electives to the Master’s level (if the student has accumulated more than 180 credits during the Bachelor’s studies). The course “Introduction to Stata” is primarily intended for students who will use Stata when writing their final thesis or preparing for research assistant positions in empirical economics. More information can be found in the individual course syllabi in SIS.
