IES students receive Trezor hardware wallets to get experience with secure digital asset storage
Thanks to a generous donation from Trezor Company s.r.o., our students interested in fintech and digital assets received Trezor Model T hardware wallets. Hardware wallets play a key role in secure self-custody, as they store private keys offline and help protect users from common online risks such as hacking, phishing, and malware.
Trezor, part of SatoshiLabs Group, is a Czech company behind the world’s first hardware wallet. It has long focused on improving education and security in the crypto space.
Through this donation, the company is generously giving our students - primarily participants in the 2026 edition of the JEM233 FinTech and Blockchain course - a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with the secure self-custody of cryptocurrencies.
We truly appreciate this valuable addition to the curriculum that opens the door to fintech practice.
