Submit your abstract and take part in the FSV UK Student Research Conference 2026!
We would like to invite you to the FSV UK Student Research Conference 2026, which will take place on Friday, June 12, 2026. This event offers an excellent opportunity to fine-tune and get feedback on your research, practice presentation skills (we highly recommend the pre-conference workshop) and engage with the academic community at our faculty.
BEF, MEF, MFDA and CSF students with final theses in progress as well as students from Czech-language programs (provided they deliver their presentations or posters in English) are particularly welcome to participate. If you want to present your own research, practise academic communication or simply be inspired by your peers, this event is for you!
To take part in the conference, you will need to have your abstract reviewed by a faculty mentor (which for graduating students should be the thesis supervisor) who can confirm that your proposed contribution is suitable for presentation. This does not require ongoing collaboration; a brief approval is sufficient. Once your mentor agrees to advise your project, you can submit your abstract using the online application form which you will find on this page. Please read the instructions before submitting.
All key information, including the programme, participation guidelines and updates, is available on the conference website - here.
How to participate in a nutshell:
- Find a faculty mentor who can review your abstract.
- Choose your format: oral presentation or poster.
- Submit a 150‑word abstract through the online form.
Key dates:
- Abstract deadline: May 12, 2026
- Pre-Conference Workshop: May 22, 2026
- Conference: June 12, 2026
Should you have any further questions, you can contact the organising team at student.conference@fsv.cuni.cz.
We hope you will consider participating and are looking forward to seeing you in June!
