Studied Romance Studies (subjects: Italian – French) and Czech Studies at the Philosophical Faculty, Charles University, Prague (1966 – 1971).
Received a PhDr. degree in 1972 (thesis “Lexical Migration between Italian and French”).
Job history
Until 1990 taught at the Language School, Národní 20, Prague 1, in the years 1990 – 1993 at Philosophical Faculty, Charles University, and then at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University.
