|Abstract:||The global banking industry has developed rapidly to accommodate changes in IT, digitalization and cloud banking. This book reviews both theoretical banking principles and practical applications with a focus on the Czech Republic and the European Union. It is a unique, bilingual Czech-English book that reflects the long-term research interests of its authors in the field of financial markets and risk management. The simple language of the book renders it accessible for both experts and the public.
