Abstract: The main purpose of this thesis is to find alternative modelig framework for studying and analyzing behaviour of economic agents in the decentralized economy. The approach is based on the concept of complex adaptive systems consisting of large number of interacting parts. The combination of Muli-Agent Based Modeling and the techniques from the field of Artificial Inteligence was chosen as possible alternative to formal mathematical methods. To illustrate this approach the computational model of a decentralized economy was created in which artificial economic agents with the decision mechnism in the form of classifier system coordinate their activities to reach better outcomes.
