Dot Awards 2024
Dot Awards 2024
On October 9, 2024, the awards ceremony for the Deloitte Outstanding Thesis Award (DOT Award) took place. This award, designated for exceptionally high-quality and outstanding Bachelor's and Master's theses written by IES students, has been granted since 2018 based on the partnership between IES and Deloitte. TIndividual theses are nominated for this award by the guarantors of the Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes in cooperation with the examination committees for the final examinations at IES FSV UK. The theses are selected on the basis of their quality and the student's performance in the thesis defence.
Although the award is supported by Deloitte, the thematic focus of the awarded theses is not limited in any way. The only criterion for the award is the academic quality of the theses. This year’s nominees and winners examined a wide range of both local and international topics. They used various economic approaches to demonstrate the investigated relationships, often reflecting the most advanced methods in the given field.
