Apply for the University’s Bolzano Award Competition
The Rector of Charles University has announced the 33rd Bolzano Award Competition. The Bolzano Award is presented to students and graduates of Charles University for outstanding and innovative work demonstrating exceptional creative merit and, typically, an interdisciplinary scope, completed during their studies. Application deadline is 31 October 2026. -
CIOS V4 Workshop 2026: Finance, Innovation, and Inequality
We would like to invite you to a research workshop organized by our Center for Inequality and Open Society (CIOS). The research presented during the workshop will focus on the challenges posed by inequality in the context of the green transition. The workshop will take place on Thursday, September 17, 2026, in Room 109, starting at 9:00. -
IES students receive Trezor hardware wallets to get experience with secure digital asset storage
Thanks to a generous donation from Trezor Company s.r.o., our students interested in fintech and digital assets received Trezor Model T hardware wallets. Hardware wallets play a key role in secure self-custody, as they store private keys offline and help protect users from common online risks such as hacking, phishing, and malware. We truly appreciate this valuable addition to the curriculum that opens the door to fintech practice. -
Call for submissions: Josef Vavroušek Student Award
Submit your thesis to the competition for Josef Vavroušek Student Award which recognizes outstanding works of a social science or interdisciplinary nature with a social science overlap, following the legacy of Josef Vavroušek as a personality who advocated sustainable development as a harmonious coexistence of people, society and nature with an emphasis on responsibility towards future generations. Application deadline is 24 July 2026. -
Student evaluation of teaching in SS 2025/2026
We ask students to fill in the teaching evaluation for the summer semester 2025/2026. By filling out the questionnaire, you are helping to improve the quality of teaching. The questionnaire is available at the web address https://hodnoceni.fsv.cuni.cz/ after logging in via CAS. The evaluation questionnaire is available until 28 June 2026.
