  • CFA Institute Investment Research Challenge 2025

    The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute organizes an international student competition in company valuation. Teams of 3-5 students are assigned a mentor, a CFA charter-holder with extensive business experience. Winners proceed to the European and global rounds. Apply by October 16, 2025.

  • The competition for submitting GAUK projects will open October 1st

    The Charles University Grant Agency (GAUK) has announced a call for projects for 2026. Projects can be submitted by MA and PhD students by October 31, 2025.

  • Compact Courses in September 2025

    During September 2025 we offer two compact courses that will be run in a “block” format, i.e. delivered over a few subsequent days. All compact courses count into the Winter Semester 2025/26. Registration is already open and runs through the first day of the course.

    Rektorka Univerzity Karlovy vyhlásila 32. ročník soutěže o Bolzanovu cenu, do níž můžete přihlásit své vynikající práce, které byly dokončeny (publikovány či obhájeny) v akademickém roce 2024/2025. Termín podání přihlášky je 31. října 2025.

  • CFA Scholarships 2025

    The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute offers Awareness Scholarships granted to students interested in taking the CFA exams. Full-time Charles University students at the Bachelor, Master, or Doctoral level are eligible for the scholarship. If interested, e-mail your applications to Dr. Jiří Novák no later than July 8, 2025.

  • FSV UK Dean announces the 30th Josef Vavroušek Award

    The Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences of Charles University announces the 30th public competition for Josef Vavroušek Award, subtitled Human Values and Civilization Development Problems. Competition will include Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, Rigorosum and Dissertation theses defended in the current and in the previous academic year. The deadline for application is 25 July 2025.
