A team of students from IES represented Charles University in the Global Case Competition at Harvard 2026
Oryna Yakovenko, Hana Holčíková, and Dung Le represented our Institute of Economic Studies and Charles University in the 11th edition of the prestigious international competition Global Case Competition at Harvard 2026. Competing against 229 teams, they reached the second-highest performance level out of five. Congratulations! -
CFA Scholarships 2026
The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute offers Awareness Scholarships granted to students interested in taking the CFA exams. The scholarship reduces the CFA Program enrollment and examination registration fee. How to apply? E-mail your application package to jiri.novak@fsv.cuni.cz no later than July 2, 2026 (23:59 CET). -

Change in FSV UK opening hours of libraries and reading rooms on 1, 8 and 13 May 2026
On May 1 and 8, 2026, the libraries in Jinonice and Opletalova, the Hollar Student Zone and the Opletalova study room will be closed. The night study room in Jinonice will be open from 9:00 am to midnight. On Wednesday, May 13, 2026, the libraries in Jinonice and Opletalova will be closed as part of the Rector's Sports Day. The night study room in Jinonice will be open from 09:00 am to midnight. You can also use the study room on Opletalova Street between 08:00 am and 8:00 am. -

Apply for EU TalentOn 2026 scientific competition
EU TalentOn is a five-day European scientific competition bringing together early-career researchers (aged 21–35) from across Europe, taking place from 7 to 11 September 2026 in Brest, France. Participants will attend coaching, workshops and networking activities. Travel, accommodation and meals are fully covered, and a total of €80,000 in prizes will be awarded. Applications close on 30 April 2026.
