IES Graduate Zuzana Meteláková wins 2nd place in a thesis competition

On Thursday, March 20, 2025, the 7th meeting of the Association of Deans of Economic Faculties of the Czech Republic took place in Ostrava.

As part of the meeting, awards were presented for the second year of the competition "Association of Deans of Economic Faculties Award for the Best Thesis."

This year, second place was awarded to Zuzana Meteláková, a graduate of our Master's program in Economics and Finance, for her thesis titled "Does Bank Regulation and Supervision Impact Income Inequality? Cross-Country Evidence."

The thesis was supervised by Doc. PhDr. Adam Geršl, Ph.D.
