Petr Jakubík Selected for Prestigious BIS Research Fellowship
Our colleague, Petr Jakubík, was selected for the prestigious BIS Research Fellowship 2025, organized by
the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) – an institution often referred to as the “central
bank for central banks.” The programme supports high-level research that combines
academic rigour with practical insights for monetary policy and financial stability.
As part of the fellowship, Petr Jakubík is based at the BIS Office for the Americas, where he
focuses on research related to systemic risk transmission and macroprudential policy in
emerging markets.
His selection reflects international recognition of his long-standing contributions to financial
stability, non-bank financial regulation, and research in emerging and developing economies.
Congratulations!
