The application procedure for the Master State Final Exam is the same for all students of Master programs. 

Application deadlines AY 2023/24:
from Dec 1st, 2023 till Jan 3, 2024 at the latest for Master Final Exam in January 2024
from April 17, 2024 till April 30, 2024 at the latest for Master Final Exam in June 2024
from July 1st, 2024 till July 31, 2024 at the latest for Master Final Exam in September 2024

Regular dates of Master Final Exams in AY 2023/24:
January 31, 2024
The Master State Final Exam will take place (in a face-to-face format) in the IES building (in case the student is sick, it can take place online via MS Teams) according to time schedule published here.
June 19, 2024
The Master State Final Exam will take place (in a face-to-face format) in the IES building (in case the student is sick, it can take place online via MS Teams) according to time schedule later published here.
September 18, 2024
The Master State Final Exam will take place (in a face-to-face format) in the IES building (in case the student is sick, it can take place online via MS Teams) according to time schedule later published here.

You have to submit all documents to the SIS (see 1 and 4) by the application deadline:

1. PDF/A version of your Master Thesis (MT), English abstracts must be uploaded to the Student Information System (SIS) on the day of your registration for the Master State Final Exam (at the latest by January 3, 2024). Fill in all information carefully, paying particular attention to: the thesis title in English and Czech as well as other necessary data. The thesis may not contain any personal data (phone, e-mail) or signatures of the student or the supervisor
2. we have canceled the submission of a hardcopy of your MT
3. we have canceled the submission of a printed or an electronic Transcript of Records, the Program Director will check it in the SIS by the deadline specified in Academic Calendar 
4. electronic application for the Master State Final Exam (by January 3, 2024)

You can check whether you have successfully registered for the State Final Exam by checking the item "Final Exam-Student" in the SIS.

One week before the day of the Master State Final Exam you will receive a SIS invitation with a precise date and time of your Final Exam.

There is no need to submit a print-out of your State Final Exam Application Form! 

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
The title of the Master's thesis must be recorded in the SIS in English and also in Czech. It needs to be the same in SIS and in the Thesis. In case of discrepancies, the application may be subject to denial. Minor changes to the title of the thesis may be carried out at the secretariat of the IES or by the thesis advisor.
