Compact Courses in Summer Semester 2024
In addition to the standard courses that are run throughout the whole semester, we will be offering the following compact courses in the Summer Semester 2023/24 in a “block” format, i.e. delivered over 2-3 days. Use the unique opportunity to meet visiting professors from universities abroad and experts from private and international financial institutions to discuss attractive topics in detail! -
Our alumnus, Jan Sinčák, has won the Professor Michal Mejstřík Award
He has received it for his exceptionally beneficial master thesis on "Machine Learning Methods in Payment Card Fraud Detection." The Award was presented during the Mastercard Bank of the Year 2023 gala evening. Congratulations! -
CFA Institute Investment Research Challenge 2024
The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute organizes an international student competition in company valuation. Teams of 3-5 students are assigned a mentor, a CFA charter-holder with extensive business experience. Winners proceed to the European and global rounds. Learn more about the competition at the kick-off presentation on October 10, 2023, at the premises of the Prague University of Economics and Business (VŠE). Additional information will be provided at Prague Banking Club on October 11, 2023. -
Opening hours of our building and our library in September
Starting on Monday, September 4, 2023, the opening hours of the Opletalova building will return to normal: Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 9:00 pm. -
