Zuzana Havránková successfully completed her professorial lecture - as the youngest woman in history

At the meeting of the Scientific Council of Charles University on Thursday, 28 November, Zuzana Havránková gave a lecture on "Meta-analysis in the social sciences" as part of her proceedings for appointment as a professor at Charles University. The Scientific Council supported the proposal for appointment and forwarded it to the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and subsequently to the President of the Czech Republic, who is expected to hand over the professorial decree to our colleague in June 2025.
Zuzana Havránková, who is currently among the 100 highest-ranked economists in the world according to the RePEc database, has thus become the youngest woman ever to successfully complete a professorship at the Scientific Council of Charles University.
