At its meeting on September 15, 2026, AS FSV UK announced—pursuant to Article 1 of the AS FSV UK Election Rules —that electronic elections for the Academic Senate of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University, for the 2027–2029 term would be held from November 24 to 26, 2026.
AS FSV UK has set the period for submitting nominations for candidates to AS FSV UK from 9:00 a.m. on October 7, 2026, through 5:00 p.m. on November 13, 2026.

Teams of 3-5 students are assigned a mentor, a CFA charter-holder with extensive business experience. Winners proceed to the European and global rounds. The Czech National Bank (CNB) is launching the first edition of its research collaboration program for university students. The program gives students the opportunity to work on their thesis using non-public CNB data under the supervision of a CNB research consultant.
