Call for Papers "Empirical Methods in Energy Economics"
The 17th International Workshop on Empirical Methods in Energy Economics will be held at Charles University, Prague (Czech Republic), and organized by The Environment Center and The Institute of Economic Studies on January 22-23, 2026.
To foster a lively debate and exchange of ideas about new empirical research in energy economics, we especially welcome submissions based on novel econometric techniques, original and extensive datasets, rigorous study designs, and important policy implications. Submissions about the following four broad fields are encouraged:
1. Experimental and quasi-experimental design
2. Panel data
3. Structural econometrics
4. Energy and development
The deadline for submitting the extended abstracts is November 25, 2025.
