We invite students with a strong interest in sustainable finance and ESG to attend a guest lecture „The Price of Doing Good: Can ESG Lending Deliver Financial Value?“ by our alumnus Lukáš Tuček, Associate at McKinsey & Company. The lecture takes place on Tuesday, November 11, at 2 pm. Given the very limited space, anyone seriously interested needs to write to Martin Gregor by Friday, November 7, to reserve a spot.

Martin Gregor was recently invited to give a talk at the AAG seminar at the University of Zurich, one of the leading European universities in the fields of economics, business, and finance. This year, the seminar organized lectures by academics from, among others, Chicago, London School of Economics (LSE), Bocconi, Toronto, and Hong Kong.

The Institute of Economic Studies (IES) invites applications for up to five UNCE Doctoral Fellowships. Each fellowship provides financial support of 60,000 CZK for the period January–December 2026, dedicated primarily to covering expenses related to conference participation. The Academic Senate of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University, announces the deadline for submitting applications for student grants for the winter semester of 2025. The deadline for applications is 6th of October at 23:59. Applicants will present their projects on 13th of October at 17:00.
