    The prestigious Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control published an article Yield curve dynamics and fiscal policy shocks co-authored by our colleague, Professor Evžen Kočenda and our graduates Adam Kučera and Aleš Maršál.
  • Martin Gregor gave a talk at the University of Zurich

    Martin Gregor was recently invited to give a talk at the AAG seminar at the University of Zurich, one of the leading European universities in the fields of economics, business, and finance. This year, the seminar organized lectures by academics from, among others, Chicago, London School of Economics (LSE), Bocconi, Toronto, and Hong Kong.
  • Golden Courses for the best courses of the Summer Semester 2024/2025

    Congratulations to our colleagues on receiving the Golden Courses -  traditionally awarded by the Faculty of Social Sciences after the end of each semester to the highest-rated courses from each institute. The awards for the Summer Semester 2024/2025 were presented on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 during the Academic Senate meeting. The award is accompanied by financial reward. 
  • Call for applications: UNCE Doctoral Fellowships

    The Institute of Economic Studies (IES) invites applications for up to five UNCE Doctoral Fellowships. Each fellowship provides financial support of 60,000 CZK for the period January–December 2026, dedicated primarily to covering expenses related to conference participation. Apply by November 30, 2025.
