Jana Votápková is a researcher specialising in health economics, including economics of ageing, with a focus on the economic evaluation of healthcare interventions, healthcare policy, and evidence-based decision-making in health systems. Her research explores how healthcare resources can be allocated efficiently while improving health outcomes and supporting the sustainability of healthcare systems. Her research interests include cost-effectiveness analysis, healthcare financing, health technology assessment, and quantitative evaluation of healthcare programmes.

She is particularly interested in combining rigorous economic methodology with practical challenges faced by healthcare decision-makers.
