Offer of a Long-Term Collaboration with the NBS Structural Analysis Team
The National Bank of Slovakia (NBS) is seeking a motivated student (ideally in the fields of economics, statistics, or related areas) for a long-term,paid research and analytical support position with our Structural Analysis Team. We particularly welcome applicants interested in firm-level produc-
tivity, education and healthcare economics, inequality, macro-finance with strong interest in climate change impacts and policies, international trade or policy evaluation.
What will you do?
Prepare data and conduct basic empirical and econometric analyses (e.g., using data from SHARE, EU-SILC, and other surveys or administrative datasets).
Compile summaries and overviews of scientific and professional literature.
Contribute to ad hoc tasks related to the team’s analytical activities.

Competitive remuneration. In accordance with Slovak law, we are required to state that the gross hourly wage will not be lower than 8 eur. The remuneration will depend on the candidate’s level of education and prior experience.
Who are we looking for?
A student (either full-time or part-time) at the university level with a focus on economics, statistics, mathematics, or related fields. Someone with at least basic experience using econometric or statistical software (e.g., R, Stata, or Python).
A responsible, communicative individual eager to learn and work in a team. While knowledge of Slovak is not required, potential candidates need to hold EU citizenship.
